     Presented as result of analysis

     Also called Summary Tables

Original Table -

     Data are presented in the same form and manner in which they are collected

 

Derived Table -

     Data are not presented as it is

Eg. Data is first converted into ratios or percentage and then presented

     Shows only one characteristic of data

Eg. Number of Students in a College class-wise
