6. Convenience Sampling-


●     Sampling is done in such a manner that suits investigator’s convenience

●     units are selected for inclusion in the sample because they are the easiest for the researcher to access or close to hand

E.g.  selecting a sample of teachers merely by referring to the college prospectus

Merits-

●     Simplest, least expensive

Demerits-

●     Unscientific, unreliable
